Have you ever had one of "those" days? You know, when your one year old spit up right as you were leaveing the house, the car wouldn't start and you locked your keys in the car? I have! In fact, sometimes I feel like I've had more than my fair share of those days.
But, believe it or not, the Bible tells us that times like these are faith builders. Many times we think of major problems in our lives as faith builders, but the "little" timesare, too! Sounds funny though, doesn't it? Things go wrong and yet it is supposed to STRENGTHEN our faith.
But, it's true! According to 1 Peter 1:6 & 7, our faith is actually strengthened as we allow God to see us through "those days". These times are small in the big scheme of things and yet God can use them to build our faith in a way that may be major when we look back upon them.
1 Peter 1:6 & 7 - "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."
